 We had a wonderful stay; we felt like welcomed guests (sans actual host/hostess). Nicely decorated and well appointed condo in a very convenient location by Dillon Lake. Condo had ample parking and we liked that the condo was on the first floor, close to the front doors for easy access, particularly when carrying snow sports equipment. It's located close to shopping, grocery, gas stations, and more importantly a number of different ski slopes and walking/trekking/snowshoe trails. The bus stop was directly across the street from the condo. From there, my teenagers could take a bus ride to Keystone, as well as access to Abasin, Breckenridge, and others while we parents explored a snowshoe trail, walk around Frisco, or walk around Dillon Lake. We could walk to restaurants, a bowling alley, and the movie theater so it all made for a wonderful and memorable family vacation. We would love to come back for another visit and we highly recommend staying with Karen & Barry. They were very helpful hosts in answering questions and providing information about the area.

 Our vacation has been great; your condo was a cozy and comfortable home away from home! This is such a great area--we went on a couple of mountain hikes, rented a speed boat at the Dillon Marina, rented bikes to ride around the lake and spent a day at the Breckenridge "fun park." It was great having a fully supplied kitchen for cooking here, instead of eating out every day. Your pool was a nice way for us to cool off and the kids loved the nice playground a few minutes' walk away. Thanks for thinking of all the little details (instructions, tips, movies, fans, etc.). We hope we can get out here again soon!

 We discovered Dillon after a few years of fighting the crowds in Breckenridge and we'll never go back. We love to visit, ski, and shop Breckenridge, but staying in Dillon is perfect. This condo is on the trail by the lake, so we returned to peaceful walks away from the crowds. The restaurants are much less crowded, very close and pretty good, but what we enjoyed most was cooking in the unit. This condo is very well supplied with multiple coffee options (Keurig, drip and even French press), a crock pot, very nice pots & pans and even a griddle. One night we grilled out on the Weber grill. We didn't think we would watch much TV, but the 40" television and sound bar along with the selection of movies made relaxing in the evenings very enjoyable. The building is small, so there wasn't much competition for the pool or hot tub. Oh, yeah, the bus stop is just across the street. We plan to come back to ski Keystone, because it's so easy to get there. You'll love this place and the owners are very helpful.

 I stayed here with my family. We loved it. It is very well done inside. Decor is great. Feels like a cabin in the snowy mountains. Had everything we needed. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. Some friends were staying down the hallway and they were very jealous of the condo we had. Great kitchen. Great bedrooms and TVs. Everything worked and made our ski trip perfect. Look forward to coming back next year! No worries here. And the owners were very professional.

 This condo was perfect for our family of 4. It would even work for 5 with everyone in beds. The kids' room had 3 beds, which means no fighting for us! You can't beat the location. It's in the center of Dillon, right above the marina. We walked to a place to rent bikes and rode around the lake to shop around in Frisco one day and over to breakfast in Keystone the next. Mom even took the free bus (that stops across the street) to the outlets down the hill when she wanted a get-away. The pool sits above the lake, with a beautiful view of the mountains. There's even a small wading pool for younger children. The owners are very helpful. They leave a lot of information to guide guests. With that information, we were easily able to regulate the temperature. It was about 73 degrees when we went to bed and 68 when we got up. When it was really hot outside, we used the huge swamp cooler (it looked brand new) we just added ice and water. As others have said, the condo is very well appointed with granite in the kitchen and mountain-themed wood throughout. Oh yeah, we loved the Dillon farmers market that was across the street Friday. We'll definitely be back.

The location was perfect for us. The condo was smaller then we expected but very nice and comfortable! Kitchen was fully stocked and plenty of linens and soft towels!! A big complaint of the others we were traveling with staying in different condos. I liked being on the first floor, never felt unsafe. Being able to punch a code on the door was great, no worries about loosing keys and very easy check in process. Karen was amazing and made the whole transaction of renting easy for us. The welcome basket was a very nice touch and much appreciated. The only one real complaint we had was the temperature, it got very hot sometimes, especially when using the dryer. However, in the evenings it was fine and in the day we did not hang out there much because there is so much to enjoy outdoors. I also need to add that they had plenty of fans in the condo. At least 4 I can remember plus a ceiling fan. We would stay again and hope to in the future.

Our summer vacation based in this Dillon condo was terrific. The Lodge at Lake Dillon was easy to find - - not right in the middle of town, but close enough to walk to the Amphitheater, the Marina, the lakeside playground or the various restaurants and shops nearby. The owners have used high-quality knotty pine furniture to match the woodwork throughout the interior; the kitchen looks brand new and has everything you need (we cooked our own meals there most of the time). Quality bedding and towels were much appreciated. Kids loved the bunkbeds and watching movies or playing games in the evenings. There's not a lot of space in this condo, it's very cozy, but it has all we hoped for in a vacation getaway - - we hope to be back soon.

I've stayed in a few different VRBO properties. One of the little secrets of many of them, especially in Breck, is that they use linens and paper products provided by the cleaners. This often means poor quality, hard towels and sheets as well as rough TP! This place has VERY nice sheets and towels and high end TP (a very nice splurge!) As other reviews have noted, it's centrally located. Ground floor makes it easy to unload/load. Waking up in the morning to look out at the majestic snow covered mountains is a bonus. This condo is beautifully appointed and we will definitely return. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. Everyone had beds without having to unfold and put up a couch hide-a-bed everyday (that gets old) The owners are personable and great to work with and that's important, too! If you haven't rented on VRBO, Barry & Karen will take care of you.

Passed this section of Dillon many times, never realized how convenient it was to recreation and how removed it is from the hustle and bustle. Nights in the comfortable beds were quiet and restful, the kitchen is well stocked with condiments and staples and everything was as promised or better. The bikeway/walking path around Dillon Reservoir is right outside the complex, shopping is a short drive away, and several restaurants are within walking distance. I particularly enjoyed the "local library" that the hosts maintained as well as an after ski drink on the patio in the sun. The hosts made us feel at home in their home. Definitely a place that we would recommend to others.

We stayed 5 nights and were very well served. The condo is very comfy and cozy which was everything we wanted after day of skiing. Location is very convenient and easy to park and enter. The only recommendation is better instructions regarding appliances and heating. We could not reduce the heat the first two days but once we spoke with the owners we were able to control for the temperature. Would have been nice to have had some sugar or sweetner when we arrived but left many things for the next renters. Appreciated the owners being flexible with dates. The location is quiet so sleeping in was not a problem. Would consider renting again. We enjoyed the local breweries and convenience of grocery.

We really enjoyed skiing and our winter vacation in Colorado with this cozy condo as our base. The owners provided excellent information and prompt replies to our questions. This is a great getaway place with a well stocked kitchen! Dillon is the best community in Summit County to get away from the crowds and pot shops. It is central to all of the ski resorts and this unit is right across the street from the free bus that transports you all over the county.

This condo is in a fantastic location. We loved how it is so cozy, adorable and well equipped. The owners have done a great job labeling and offering resources for local activities, attractions, dining, etc. We wish we could have stayed longer!
